The Wedding Roombox

This was a bridal shower gift for my cousin, Laura. I didn't know what to use for a box and my Mom had a old stereo speaker that I was able to use. I covered it with fabric and used some pretty wired ribbon to edge it. I made the wedding dress laying on the bed from one of Anke's patterns.
The bed and headboard I made from cardboard. All of the bedding I made using a wonderful book "Dollhouse Furnishings for the Bedroom & Bath by Shep Stadtman". The pictures on the wall are of Laura's parents and brother. The frames are old buttons. There is also a framed picture of Laura and Chara, her fiance. The hutch I stained and re-did the handles on it. It's filled with perfume bottles from a Swapping 101 swap. The vanity and chair are Dollar Store items that I stripped, painted and stenciled. I also made up a little calendar with the date of their wedding circled with a little heart.
