Grammy's Kitchen

This was a Christmas gift for my Grandmother. She has every kitchen appliance ever made and loves to cook. So, I thought it would be appropriate. I bought the shelf at Jo-Ann Fabrics and stained it.
The top shelf contains a housewarming party scene filled with presents and all kinds of kitchen appliances. I re-upolstered the chairs and made a matching tablecloth. The table I bought online from a great place called Veghead.com. The picture on the wall is a reduced copy of a detailed paint-by-number kit that my Grandmother did and has hanging in her living room. The plant stand is a painted film canister.
The kitchen scene was a lot of fun to do. The fruit wallpaper is similar to what my Grandmother has up in her kitchen. The sink, stove and refrigerator are from Veghead.com. The beagle potholders and cookie jar are printables that I made. There is also a little beagle on the floor to represent my Grandmother's beagel, Missy. On the refrigerator there are reduced photos of my kids (her great-grandchildren.)
The shelf I made from thin cardboard and painted. Lots of printables are up there on the shelf. The picture on the wall is a reduced painting of my Grandmother's first house. The toaster and saucepan on the stove are from TJ's Treasures.com
