This roombox was inspired by a wonderful swap that I did with Mishelly(www.Mishellyszoo.homestead.com.) Almost all of the accessories were made by Mishelly. I picked up the shadow box at ACE Hardware for $4.99. I painted the frame with an antique blue acyrlic paint. The flooring is from a supply swap done by Kerrie. They are popsicle sticks with the ends cut off and then stained.

| Here's a close-up of the easel and stool. I love that Mishelly added such realistic touches as paint splatter and the dirty cup for holding paintbrushes. | The outside of the box I painted with a mixture of white, black & ivory acrylic paint mixed with black sand. It gave it a wonderful texture. I cut an opening for a window using a peice of plastic for the "glass" and trimmed it with some left over wood pieces. I painted it with a dark forest green acrylic paint and then dry brushed with black. | ||||||

This picture shows the window and shelf that I made from leftover wood pieces. The painter's box was also made by Mishelly. It contains the most fantastic little tubes of paint and extra brushes.
